Barry's Tea has found that Irish taste buds are maturing as the popularity of Green Tea rose 14% in the last year. We have always been a nation of black tea drinkers, but unknown to most people, Barry's Natural Green Tea uses the same leaves as black tea, however they are processed differently.
The rise in green tea drinking can be attributed to many factors including the increase of travel to more exotic locations, people's growing interest in healthy living and its increased visibility within supermarkets.
Barry's Tea commented, "With such a growth in Irish Green Tea drinkers, the delicious relation to black tea is definitely on the rise. We've specially formulated Barry's Natural Green Tea to appeal specifically to the Irish palate so this could be why Irish consumers are taking it to their hearts."
Barry's teas are blended from the finest teas, sourced ethically from some of the best quality tea gardens in Africa and India. The Barry's Tea range includes Classic Blend; Original Blend, Gold Blend; Decaf; Very Berry, Cranberry and Orange, and Lemon Ginger Fruit Infusions; Organic Peppermint and Camomile Herbal Infusions, Natural Green Tea; Organic Green Tea; Lemongrass infused Green Tea and Jasmine infused Green Tea.
