“Sweet love can make a golden moment... My idea for my teapot was the impressive instant of meeting that special somebody for a cup of tea. Or even seeing a mysterious stranger while stopping off for a cuppa. The conversations, revelations and emotions experienced in a brief encounter. And the friendly gesture of offering the last biscuit on the plate. The illustrations for my pot were based around 1930s French biscuit advertisements. My teapot is embelished with over 300 Swarovski crystals that were inspired by a plate of sugar coated biscuits, to give the whole concept a sparkling, precious and intimate feeling”. Phil Dunne
